Q. Reservation for female candidates
Ans : As per the provisions in Government Resolution No. GEC-1000/ (123/2000)/ Tech. Edu.-1, dated 17th April 2000, 30% of seats shall be reserved for female candidates. There shall be no reservation for Female candidates under Defense, Persons with Disability, and Orphan categories
Q. Reservation for EWS Candidate
Ans : As per the provisions in Government Resolution No.????? ????/G.D.??/??-?, dated 12th February 2019, 10% of seats shall be reserved for EWS candidates. These seats shall be filled by the Competent Authority through CAP as per the policies of the Government declared from time to time.
Q. Tuition Fee waiver scheme (TFWS)
Ans : Annual Income certificate of parents issued after 1st April of current financial year. The income limit of parents shall be as per the AICTE norms declared from time to time. Authority issuing the document. Tahsildar/ Sub Divisional Officer / Deputy collector / Collector of the district/ Metropolitan Magistrate or appropriate authority.
Q. Documents required for supporting the backward class reservation claim (SC/ST)
Ans : For SC - Caste Certificate stating that the caste is recognized under backward class category in Maharashtra State. For ST Tribe Certificate stating that the caste is recognized under backward class category in Maharashtra State. The document Authority issuing of Cast Certificate and Validity should be Executive Magistrate or appropriate authority in Maharashtra State
Q. Documents required for supporting to claim the Category VJ/DTNT(A)/NT(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/OBC/SBC
Ans : 1. Caste/Tribe Certificate stating that the Caste/Tribe is recognized under the backward class category in Maharashtra State. 2. Non-creamy layer Certificate valid up to the end of the current financial year. the document Authority issuing of Cast Certificate and Validity should be Executive Magistrate or appropriate authority in Maharashtra State the document Authority issuing of Non-creamy layer Certificate should be Sub Divisional Officer / Deputy Collector / Collector of the district/ Metropolitan Magistrate or appropriate authority
Q. Reservation for sons/daughters of Defense Service Personnel
Ans : Five percent (5%) of the seats available under the Centralized admission process in each Polytechnic, shall be reserved for children of active/Ex defense service personnel. These seats are within the sanctioned intake capacity for the course. These seats shall be filled by the Competent Authority through CAP as per the policies of the Government is declared from time to time. This reservation is not available to the children of civilian staff who are working/ who has worked with the Indian Defense Services.
Q. Reservations for Orphan Candidates
Ans : One percent (1%) of seats of CAP Seats (excluding Minority institutions, All India Seats, if any) shall be reserved for Orphan Candidates. These seats shall be filled by the Competent Authority through CAP as per Government Resolution, Women and Child Welfare Department, No. AMJ-2011/C.R. 212 / Desk 3 dated 2nd April 2018 and the policies of the Government declared from time to time.
Q. Reservations for Persons with Disability Candidates
Ans : Five percent (5%) seats under CAP of all the Institutions shall be reserved for Candidates with the following natural Disabilities. These seats shall be filled by the Competent Authority through CAP as per the policy of the Government declared from time to time.
Q. Why did my admission category got changed?
Ans : Dear Candidate, as per the category criteria you have not uploaded the required documents.

Q. What are the Steps for Registration?

Q. How to edit the Verified/Submitted/Provisionally Confirmed application form?
Ans : To edit your verified application form you need to send a grievance. To send a grievance please follow the below-mentioned steps. Login -> Click on Send Grievance -> Select Type>Upload Documents -> Enter Remark -> Send.
Q. Unable to upload the required document?
Ans : To upload the required documents please check your application form status, if your application form status is under verification then you have to wait till verification. Or If your application form is Verified then you need to send the Grievance, to send the Grievance please follow the below mentioned steps. Login -> Click on Send Grievance -> Select Type>Upload Documents -> Enter Remark -> Send.
Q. Payment debited from my bank account but the application form status showing incomplete?
Ans : If payment gets debited from your bank account and the application form status shows incomplete then, Wait for sometimes or Contact the provided helpline number Frequently check your Payment history.
Q. How to remove FC marked discrepancy?
Ans : To remove discrepancies you need to login into your account and list of discrepancies found in your application form as displayed on your screen. To resolve the discrepancy, you need to send a grievance. Please follow the below-mentioned steps. Login -> Click on Send Grievance -> Select Type -> Upload Documents -> Enter Remark -> Send
Q. What is the next step after verification of the application form?
Ans : Dear Candidate, Post verification of your application form there will be the following stages Step 2: Provisional Merit List, Step -3: Grievance Period Step- 4: Final Merit List, Step -5: Cap round 1 Step – 6: Seat Matrix Step -7: Option form Step -8: Allotment display Step -9: Seat Acceptance Step -10: Institute reporting Step 11: Cap Round 2 Step –12: Seat Matrix Step -13: Option form Step -14: Allotment display Step -15: Seat Acceptance Step -16: Institute reporting Step -17: Institute Level Admission.
Maharashtra, Minority and All India Candidates - CAP Option Form / Reporting
Q. When I can fill option form?
Ans : Dear Candidate, post-final merit list, if your name is displayed then only you can fill the option form, to fill option form (Select the colleges and set the preference as per requirement) and submit.
Q. Why did my admission category got changed?
Ans : Dear Candidate, as per the category criteria you have not uploaded the required documents.
Q. Why should I pay the 100 rupees difference fees?
Ans : Dear Candidate, firstly you have filled the application form through the category and have not uploaded the required documents to your application form is provisionally confirmed under the open category. The application registration fee for the open category is rupees 400/- so you have to pay a 100/- rupees difference fee.
Q. After paying the difference fee and reclaiming the reservation then my I can raise the request to refund the difference fee?
Ans : Dear Candidate, the Application fee is nonrefundable as per the rules mentioned in the Information Brochure.
